I was sitting here searching on line and I came across this site Tailgatelot.com. To be honest I forgot that we had done an interview with them about the old bus. It’s pretty amazing where we have ended up now with the trailer and the close group of friends. Click on the link and check it out!
Just reminiscing where it started…
That’s a wrap!
What an amazing day! As you know Old Man Jay, Burnt River Bob, and Pam Staff (Sorry I missed you in the original post!) were at the Shooting of the film Draft Day. They were acting as fans on the set and were able to interact with Dennis Leary and Jennifer Garner! Talk about being star struck! The Old Man’s truck was even used in one of the scenes as a back drop! They have been invited back on Thursday for one more day of shooting.
Old Man Jay Burnt River Bob and Pam Saff have hit the Big Time!
Well it was bound to happen, the dynamic duo has been found by Hollywood! Old Man Jay and Burnt River Bob and Pam Staff are both going to be extras in the new Kevin Costner movie, Draft Day! Join me in congratulating the two and maybe we can have a special screening on opening night!
Edit: Added Pam Staff. Missed her in the original post.
A heartfelt Thank You
I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for thoughts and prayers during this emotional time. My family and myself truley appreciate the friends and family that have reached out. Thank you. – Old Man Jay

Thanks Jimmy for the apology
I wanted to share this with you all. Our owner apologized to the fans and cleveland for the problems he has been having with the Flying J.
This action goes a long way with me. In todays age there are too many heads of corporations that won’t say anything. Now I want to stress that he is not admitting fault with the investigation, he is apologizing for puting the city through the investigaton.
See below for his quote. What do you think?
“I apologize to the city of Cleveland, Northeastern Ohio and all Browns fans because the last thing we ever wanted to do as a new owner was detract from football and the Browns and just what a great football area this is, and so I apologize for that,”

2013 NFL Draft Grades: Cleveland Browns come in last in the AFC North | cleveland.com
So below is an article about our draft and how we did. According to the Plain Dealer we received a grade of C+ because of our draft choices after the first round. Do you agree?

Cleveland Browns pick Barkevious Mingo in draft gallery (14 photos)
The Picks: 6. Barkevious Mingo, outside linebacker, LSU. 68. Leon McFadden, cornerback, San Diego State. 175. Jamoris Slaughter, strong safety, Notre Dame. 217. Armonty Bryant, defensive end, East Central (OK). 227. Garrett Gilkey, tackle, Chadron State.
Best Pick: Barkevious Mingo – He gives the Browns the elite pass-rushing prospect they were missing.
Worst Pick: Jamoris Slaughter – Taking Slaughter with Georgia’s Bacarri Rambo still on the board was not a smart move. The Browns need a ballhawk in their back-end; that’s not Slaughter.
Analysis: The Browns had a great start to the 2013 NFL draft. They left the first round with the player (Mingo) they absolutely needed. An elite pass-rusher was the missing piece to the Browns’ new-look front seven and Mingo was the best pure pass-rusher the draft. It all went downhill from there. The rest of the draft was just as puzzling as so many Browns’ drafts since 1999. While this year’s draft lacked the sizzle and elite talent at the top of the class, its strength was its depth. Starters were found by other teams in the fourth, fifth and sixth rounds. That’s where a good draft becomes great and quality GMs earn their money. The Browns decided not to take advantage of this year’s depth and missed out on future starters (Fresno State’s Phillip Thomas, Georgia’s Bacarri Rambo and Western Kentucky’s Quanterus Smith).
Grade: C+

What a sweet Tailgate, (literally with all the BBQ!) As you can imagine everyone seemed to bring down a BBQ themed food item and of course there were a few adult beverages and deserts available! What made the Event so much better was a Browns win! Browns 30 Chiefs 7.
